I have been teaching for 14 years. I love it! I am always looking for new and exciting ways to teach math. Years ago, I tried blogging my lessons and had great outcome and feedback. However, this year started off to be a bit tricky due to firewalls that block blogs from my students at school. So, I took a survey on how many students had access to the internet and the response was extremely small. Therefore, I had to adapt and move the videos to Google Classroom, which is only accessible through individual, invited student population. The videos here are very close to how I introduce concepts to my students. I try to get them to make connections to the concept as well as try to make it fun and easy to remember. Eventually, we move into more abstract, algorithm type of work but for many, this way helps ease the anxieties of learning something new.
